We cordially invite you this Saturday at 9:30 am to join us at 611 Stevens Street in Geneva for Introducing do-over.me. Introducing do-over.me is a monthly open house event where potential members can come and learn more about the services do-over.me offers.

What sets us apart from other career centers? We know that the job search is hard. Finding a job becomes a job when you aren't equipped with the proper tools and resources needed to succeed in the competitive job market. Like most career centers, we offer services such as résumé writing, LinkedIn profile creation, and interview training--but unlike most career centers, we're a nonprofit based on people, not a bottom line. That's why we offer services on an affordable sliding scale, depending on your income.

Cynthia Kay Wade started do-over.me in 2014 after working for 11 years as a third-party corporate recruiter in Chicago. After the recession, so many talented professionals lost their jobs. Such devastating loss can take a toll on anyone. do-over.me was created to ensure that no one ever feels lost or isolated. We're a nonprofit career community center dedicated to helping people get back on their feet by giving them the tools and confidence they need to excel again.

Once you're a member of do-over.me, you get access to all our workshops and seminars at a reduced rate or--depending on the event--for free. Some of our workshops include:

  • "Winging It!" a workshop that teaches you how to network
  • "Strengthsfinders", a special workshop that helps you identify your strengths and how it can help you professionally

We hope to see you this Saturday.
