Consider this: how many times have you been plagued with insomnia or pulled an all-nighter and thought you could "cash it all in" and recover all the sleep you lost?
Unfortunately, you can't. The best thing you can do is teaching yourself better habits. Stay hydrated, if you're tired--go to bed when you can. If that doesn't work, try setting a reminder on your phone to go to bed earlier.
If you have to use your phone or computer before bed, go into your settings and put the internal lighting on to sunrise and sunset mode (most phones offer this these days). Try sleeping for at least 6-7 hours a night. If possible, try skipping your morning alarm.
The change might be hard to get used to at first, but it will help you in the long run. By cultivating these new habits, you'll not only feel well-rested but also ready to take on the world.
