College Is More Important Than You Think

College makes you even more employable than you think. University experience can improve a person’s agreeableness and extraversion, key traits to boost job prospects, according to research from Australia’s Monash University. Although extraversion tends to decline as people age, exposure to new people and activities — hallmarks of extracurricular college life — can reverse that process. Such social acuity can help workers network for new jobs and earn promotions.

Even if you are not in college, you can still expose yourself to new people, new activities and new ideas.  Check out our calendar for some ideas to expand you mind.
