Well, everyone, it’s that time of year again! The time where we all sit around a table filled with more food than we can imagine, across from family or friends. You might go around in a circle to say what you are thankful for this year or start a casual conversation of gratitude. But once the meal is over and the dessert is served, who remembers that part?

Why do we wait for Thanksgiving day to share what we are grateful for in our lives? Is it that we are only grateful on that specific day or that’s the only day we take time to truly reflect? 

Being aware and grateful for what we have, no matter how big or small it may seem, has a multitude of positive effects. With an attitude of gratitude, we tend to have more feelings of generosity and compassion. Our overall physical health is impacted positively, as well as our relationships.
