Connecting. It's changed.

In case, you haven't noticed, how we connect with each other has changed.

I have a dear friend that I have known since I was 4 and she was 5.  We lived across the street from each other.  As teenagers, her dad took a job in CA and she moved.  No cell phones.  No texting. We paid for long distance service.  No internet and email.  No facebook, instagram or twitter. It took work to stay connected.  But we did.  And 60 years later, we're still close friends.  No one has more history with me than she does.

Now, it's so much easier.  I've embraced all the new technologies as useful tools that help me do the things I want to do; like stay connected to dear friends who live thousands of miles away or even close friends who I don't see as often as I'd like.

You can stay connected with by becoming a friend of our tribe.  Just sign up , at the bottom of the page and receive updates on what we're doing.  Many events are free and of interest to anyone who considers themselves a life-long learner.

You can also follow us on social media. We're on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and Pintrest..
