Attitudes of Gratitude - August 21, 2015

I know that the practice of gratitude, recognizing and saying thank you for all the gifts that have been given to me, has changed my life.  More than any other habit I've tried to cultivate through the years, the simple prayer of "thank you" remains the most powerful.  At least one time every day, I stop to look around and contemplate all that I have.  I focus on the abundance that fills my life and allow myself to be reminded that I really do have all that I need.

Today I am grateful for...

...beautiful sunny, warm summer days. active business that allows me to use my talents to provide support for people in transition. amazing group of clients who are working hard to overcome their individual challenges and to live the lives them were meant to live.  I am so proud of each and every one of you.

...friends who are always there when I need them.  Whether its a cup of coffee, a hug or a conversation, you guys always lift my spirits and remind me how blessed I am. daughter Kate and her significant other, Trevor...where do I begin to say thank you for those two?  They are such a special young couple and it is a privilege to be a part of their world.  We really enjoy each other and that's an amazing gift to enjoy with adult children.

...sweet Janice, one of "the givens" who have shared Kate's world since middle school.  What an incredible young woman.  It was so good to see you and spend time with you when you were home recently between trips to Germany and Budapest.  I am so proud of you!!!

...sweet brown eyed Bella, who like my mom before her is always glad to see me and loves me unconditionally.  I love her kisses.  I love that she makes me smile and laugh every day.

I am blessed.  You are too.
