I am very honored to know Bree Carey. She is an amazing young woman with a very important message to share. I hope that you will consider attending this first event, Words of Hope, offered by Bree Carey, founder of a Cutter's Guardian Angel.
Join us for an open-mic about mental illness. Sunday, September 14 at 2:00 PM at the Geneva Public Library
Bree Carey, Geneva High School student and founder of the non-profit organization A Cutter’s Guardian Angel (ACGA), will lead this special event. You can learn more about this NFP on their web site at http://acuttersguardianangel.webs.com/get-involved. Or Like them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/ACGAngels
Anyone is welcome to share poems, songs and stories from the heart or come to listen. The only rule: no judgments. Come support your community and learn about this important concern. Teens and adults are welcome but due to the mature topic this program is not recommended for younger children.
This event is offered through A Cutter’s Guardian Angel in partnership with Geneva Public Library District. Registration is encouraged.
Interested in sharing a story, poem, song or brief lecture? Please let us know when you register. If you register online, write-in what you will share in the notes field.
