For a long while, now, I've been searching for a word that I could use to sign off with on correspondence. The tried and true, "sincerely, your truly" and even the more contemporary "namaste or peace" all seemed not quite right. I tried to be patient, not one of my better qualities. I recently discovered "meraki." It's a greek word. It can be used as either a noun or a verb. I, of course, prefer the verb.
Meraki means to do something with soul, creativity or love; to put something of yourself into your work.
Don't you love it? Well, I do, and that's all that matters. It's perfect for me. It says everything about the way I want to live my life and do my work. It resonates in my soul and represents the spirit of do-over.me.
In the future, when you receive correspondence from me, it will be signed off with meraki. Please take a moment to commit it to memory so that you are reminded of its meaning each time you see it. Perhaps you too, will choose to live your life with meraki.
