Attitudes of Gratitude - December 4, 2014

Today I am grateful for...

...the Simple Abundance  Daybook of Comfort and Joy by Sarah Ban Breathnache that my mother gave me the year it was published, 1995.  Almost 20 years later, I am still reading it and finding wisdom on its pages.  From today - "There is a significant difference between thinking you know and actually knowing.  Just as there is a significant difference between superficial change and change on a cellular level.  It's one thing to move the furniture around for a fresh new look; it's quite another to rearrange your "DNA" - your destiny, nature and aspirations - which is exactly what you're doing when you search for your authenticity  Start to do that and you get a fresh new life."

...I am grateful for my weekly IMPROV class which always makes me laugh and puts me in a good mood regardless of how challenging my day has been.

...I am grateful for angels in unexpected places.  We received a $300 donation for this morning from a very generous soul.  This person is just an average, ordinary person, working to make ends meet, trying their best to do their best with the gifts that they have been given.  It is a constant source of amazement that it's the everyday folks who have been the most generous; who have been the ones who have allowed to come so far in eight short months.  We have received over $1500 in donations for these folks.  Every little bit helps and we are appreciate of every gift because it allows us to continue to support others who are in transition.

I am blessed.  You are too.
