Faces of the Fox was conceived by the founder of do-over.me, Cynthia K. Wade and Adler University intern, Laura Esposito. Using photography and stories, Faces of the Fox showcases a variety of different people and what they have in common their living area. We have photographed the a widest possible range of people representing as many different variations on the human spirit as possible, including but not limited to people who are diverse racially, ethnically, educationally, economically, religiously, mentally, physically, emotionally, sexually, and in their gender identification. Founder is TEDx Speaker

Founder, Cynthia K Wade was one of 10 speakers at TEDx Oak Park Women on Thursday, December 6 at the 19th Century Club in Oak Park. This event, the fourth for TEDx OPW, brought together over 270 people to listen and discuss ideas worth sharing.

Cynthia’s talk, was conceived in the Faces of the Fox project that is described below. Rather than let preconceived bias dictate our understanding of others, the goal of Faces was get to know some of the people of the Fox Valley by sitting down and really listening to their stories; listening and learning. Using a technique that was taught to her by a mentor of her daughter, and that she was able to teach the audience, we all realized that at the end of the day, we are all the same.
