do-over.me at the Snowflake Shuffle on December 3

One of our Board Members, Bill Germanetti is getting a do-over.me team together to participate in the Tri-City Family Services Snowflake Run on Saturday, December 3.  Please take a minute to read his message below and then let us know if you'd be interested in participating on behalf of do-over.me. You can do a "two-fer," supporting both TriCity Family Services and do-over.me at the same time, plus get a little work out in.  You can register for the run here.

"I'm running the Tri-City Family services race on December 3, Saturday morning. I believe it's called snowflake run. I think there is a walk, 5K and a 10K. Over 800 runners are expected. Early sign-ups are due by Monday, November 21.

I wanted to see if any of you and your friends would help me during the race by wearing a T-shirt. The T-shirt would bear the name do-over.me, a not-for-profit I support as a board member. Check out www.do-over.me. It helps people in transition, particularly focused on work, career and work fulfillment.

We are a 2 1/2 year-old not for profit based in Geneva. We serve all along the Fox Valley. The point of making a team and wearing these T-shirts is to raise exposure for the organization. I will also make up some flyers that some of us could hand out before or after the race.

If you are interested, please contact us with your T-shirt size. Also if you can share on your social media and recruit your friends, that would be great. I will personally fund the cost of the T-shirts, although if you want to collect donations from your family and friends those dollars will go directly to do-over.me. Donations can also be made directly on the website.

I haven't run in a road race in several, several years. I have two weeks left to get in shape!

Wish me and our team luck. Hoping for great weather."
