'tis the season of gifts and giving and most of all...gratitude...

Halloween.  Thanksgiving.  The Winter Holidays of Christmas, Hanukkah, Solstice and Kwanza, then it’s a New Year!  We slide right through these months with  our schedules filled and barely time to even breath, let alone ponder a different reality.

Yet, for many, because of the challenges of life’s transitions, this season of giving is really a season of fear and frustration, Adults in transition, and the families that surround them, often struggle to make sense out of the gifts and giving that for any number of reasons are no longer a part of their world.

Whenever one of life’s transition events, such as unemployment, divorce, empty-nesting, retirement, death or a significant health scare, face you down, you can bet that some how your finances will be effected.  Indeed, at do-over.me, managing finances during a transition is one of the most important skills that we teach our clients.

Since our inception in March of 2014, we have positively impacted the lives of over 36 people – five of whom have successfully achieved their goals.  You can read some of their heart-warming stories.

This week marks Thanksgiving and Black Friday, followed quickly by Cyber Monday and Giving Tuesday.  As you gather with family and friends this year, consider a donation to do-over.me.
